Mike is a graduate and scholarship recipient of Berklee College of Music. He brings years and thousands of hours of experience to the Impact Group Drumming Team! Mike has been facilitating recreational drumming for a variety of populations since 2015, and creates meaningful sessions from care facilities to large interactive drumming events, and everything in between. He studied drum set and world percussion, and traveled to Ghana where he studied traditional hand drumming. Since 2009, he has lived in Brooklyn as a professional musician, teaching private lessons, performing at esteemed venues such as BB King’s Blues Club & Music Hall of Williamsburg. He has shared the stage with artists such as Sharon Jones and The Frightners, as well members of The Skatalites, The Slits, and Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra. He has also recorded percussion for Daptone Records. 

 Mike also owns and manages a Brooklyn based pet care company called BK Paws and Play LLC (www.bkpawsandplay.com) where he works with many rehabilitating animal rescues. He’s caring and compassionate, and truly dedicated to the well being of others.
